For Life Uganda Projects 2012

Self Sustainable Village Project

In four years For Life has grown along with its projects  with a passion and desire to help build a better
world. The Karamoja region of northeastern Uganda is a dry barren land where we hope to do so much
more. Schools and water irrigation projects  have demonstrated the importance of both small and large
operations. For Life now wants to realise a dream with the creation of a self sustaining village , giving a
better life to the families  of Kotido

Irrigation Project Karamoja –Uganda
Working together with Father Piero of the Comboni missionaries, the For Life irrigation project will
sponsor the planting of 10,000 fruit trees in Kanawat Uganda. Through the For Life scheme, community
groups and local farmers will have access to financial resources to execute community projects for
irrigation and water development activities.

Arts & Crafts Project
Working together with the Comboni sisters of Matany, For Life is sponsoring the For life Art & Craft
initiative.  The project has already generated over €4.000.00.  Ugandan women’s co-operatives are
given the opportunity to export their creativity, helping generate income for their families and
developing their communities.
